Rebecca it is great to see that you are confident and secure in your teaching abilities that you share your knowledge and intersets with Paretns and Whanau. Heuristic play/resources are a great way to link botht the centre and home environments and provide a focus that can build parent and teacher relationships. You were also able to promote opportunities without parent having to purchase resources or toys- which is nice especially in a time where home made toys are offern overlooked for bright plastic manufactured versions.
