Isla is about to transition to nursery 2, and her Mum and Dad brought in a thank-you card and gift for Sharron and myself. When I joined the nursery one team, I became
Isla's primary career, taking over from Sharron. During the last few months I built a relationship with not just
Isla but with her parents as well. It is a lovely feeling knowing that we are
appreciated.

This card is definately a tribute to your skill and practices as a nursery teacher- where the pertnership between paretbns and teacher is ever so vital to ensure continuity of care.
Isla'sparents valued not only the routine /care routines but also the time and energy you put into her developing her skills and interests- it also talks about ideas (such as heuristic play) that they have taken and implimented in the home environment.
Well done Rebecca.

Isla's younger sister Esther is a part of our nursery room, and I have become her primary caregiver also. Great to be able to have that continuation with the family that I already know.
